Curve Living Set for The Sims 3

Hey again everyone :)
I have another mesh set for you, and this time its for the living room! There’s a curved sofa – which looks like a 3 seater, but actually functions as a two seater… I honestly could not bring myself to mess around with RIG files, and it looks better as a 2 seater anyway, no sims sitting on uncomfortable cushion edges! Also included is a lovely simple & compact bar & matching barstools, my favourite floor lamp ever, a coffee table in both glass top and a solid wood, an awesomely bright red end table, a cute kitty deco (adler inspired of course!) and a requested sunburst clock to top it all off.

There’s a bit of a trick to the sofa. I made the pattern specifically for it, but when I applied it to the sofa the pattern was a little small. So I reduced the tiling so the pattern appears larger, and I added another variation with a smaller tile so small patterns look better on it. The original sofa I modelled this off was super fuzzy, had almost a fur-like texture, and I wanted to sortof replicate that but I also wanted to be able to have patterns over the fuzz if I wanted, so what I’m trying to say is there is in total 4 variations (on the same mesh of course), 2 fuzzy (with different pattern tiling sizes) and 2 plain (with different pattern tiling sizes). You’ll get the picture when you play around with it in game, its not as confusing as I seem to be making it out to be. I just like options :P

I also Made a few patterns to go with it, the pattern you see on the couch (which is Marimekko) I am including separately, plus a couple vintage Knoll upholstery patterns which I figured I’d share with y’all as well :)

Awesims Easy Living Set for The Sims 3

Hey guys!
You know, the best thing about having time off work (for the holidays) is that I have tons of time to mesh if I want! And I so do want. For you today I have a lovely, relaxing living set, comprising of an armless armchair, a swanky Noguchi coffee table (your Sims don’t know how lucky they are…), an end table with books in, an authentic 1952 Arvin television (would you believe the model name is the “Debonaire” – I’m sure you’ll agree that its name suits it VERY well), a 1950’s Arvin radio (both the tv and radio function as expected), and to top it all off, a lovely Lightolier table lamp in 2 sizes, and an enormous, fabulous (unfortunately decorative) fireplace.

Currently we are unable to clone and import fireplaces (unless theres something I just don’t know), so I had to settle with it being a floor lamp. What are ya gonna do. At least it looks pretty! And to be honest, there’s a lot you can do with a non-functioning fireplace, you’ve got more placement options without that pesky “functionality” thing in the way! However, I will update the fireplace with a working one as soon as we are able to :) I just wanted to add that I placed some stuff on the mantle of the fireplace using a coffee table height OMSP from TSR. The mantle is coffee table height :)

Awesims Mid Century style tables for The Sims 3

Heya! As previously mentioned, here is my first set of mid century style end tables (and a sideboard). They are not without their foibles, but for my game, I am pretty happy with them! All tables appear in the End Tables category, and are 1 or 2 channels recolourable (one for the wood, one for the handle). A big, big thank you to the dudes who helped me out a lot by testing this stuff for me, and putting up with my rage when things didn’t work out!
