Awesims Simple Desk for The Sims 3 (Plus extras!)

Just a quick small set for you, a conversion of my Simple desk from Sims 2, and a small chair to go with it. I’ve also included a wall sconce to match the floor lamp released in my Paola set. Great for placement in nooks and crannies, the Awesims Simple desk is just what it says on the box – simple. No bells and whistles, just a flat surface to do whatever the hell you gotta do on it. There are 7 additional textures for the top of the desk, a selection from the original desk from Sims 2. Not much else to say really! Thanks everyone for all your kind comments, ideas and everything else, I appreciate you all!
Just as a note, I’m gonna have to cut back on pictures from now on, because my bandwidth has gone over its newly increased allocation again this month and I don’t know if my host can accomodate the traffic. So my apologies for that :)

Awesims Mid Century Secretary Desk Set

Hey guys! Here I am with another set for you :)
Included in the set is the Mid Century style secretary desk, the matching chair, the oversized table lamp (which also looks really good on the floor!), and a little deco sculpture. *Please note, if you were one of the few people who downloaded the desk file before I took it down, please re-download, I have fixed some problems and the objects look much better now. I haven’t updated the screenshots though, lol, but trust me, everything is great now!).

As with my last desk, it is slightly narrower than an EA desk, so some of the slots do go off the edges, but I will fix that problem when we are able to. There are some other niggly things that I won’t mention (lol) that I will fix when I am able to as well. Hopefully this isn’t such a downer for you guys!

Awesims Sutter Secretary Desk

MactheKat (of Living Sims fame) showed me a picture of a pottery barn desk one day, wishing that we could have something like that for The Sims 3. And you know what I thought? Why SHOULDN’T we have something EXACTLY (well, almost) like that for The Sims 3!? So here it is. You can have the desk either with the lovely stencil pattern over it or not, up to you! *Please note, if you were one of the few people who downloaded the desk file before I took it down, please re-download, I have fixed some problems and the objects look much better now. I haven’t updated the screenshots though, lol, but trust me, everything is great now!).

As always, there are issues. I didn’t want the desk to be as wide as the maxis desks, and as such, there are slot problems. Rest assured that when we are able to modify slot positions, I will update desks to be correct. Until then, I don’t know about you, but I am fine sacrificing perfect functionality for a little bit of style ;)

I have included both a .package file and .sims3pack file, so you can make the decision which to have in your game. Just delete the one you don’t want! Please let me know if you have any problems with these files, I will do my best to fix them :)
The chair in the 2 green pictures will be included in my next upload, as will the table lamp to the side.
