Hey guys, here is the last recolour set I have for the Bantam mid century style lounge suite. They have a sort-of leather texture, just gives it a slightly different look :)
This set is mostly browns with a couple light colours, and black of course! Gotta have a black leather sofa!

Also included are 7 more cushion recolours, this time more modern and colourful. Enjoy!

I am a huge fan of mid century design – architecture, interior design, furniture and art. I find it completely awesome and intriguing. One of my favourite sofas of the time is the Bantam sofa. Which is way too expensive for me to have in my own house, so I can now live vicariously through my sims!
Included in this set is a 3 seater, loveseat and armchair, plus a set of matching cushions.

I have several recolours on the way so check back soon!

Full disclosure: I toyed with uploading these, because I’m not 100% happy with them. Being a n00b at meshing still, they’re not without their faults, such things as mapping (the left outside arm is a bit screwy – I don’t know how to fix it, hah), texture (due to the tufting on the back (which is non negotiable – part of the mesh ;) ) the texture is a little stretched over the front. It doesn’t look BAD, just a bit different to the rest), and poly count issues (the 3 seater is around the same or slightly higher poly count than the Zecutime base game sofa). But, I have worked on them for a while now, so here they are anyway!

Note for those who wish to recolour this set.
Thanks to HugeLunatic and gayle_afcb from the amazing Sims2Artists, this set utilises repository. Now because I am kindof backwards and started with the 3 seater, that is the master object. You must have that in your game for the recolours to show up for the 2 and 1 seater, and use this file as the mesh of which to base your recolours off. The cushions are separate.
I strongly advise against putting patterns on this sofa. I have tried it. Because of the screwy mapping (my fault, soz) the patterns have a tendency to look a bit weird. But I’ll leave that for you to find out ;) Anything with large patterns or grains is gonna look weird.. I am sorry! I prefer plain textures myself, so my recolours will all be pretty plain. Feel free to give recolouring a go though, the map should be pretty easy to follow (and the base texture is pretty plain), and if anyone needs a photoshop file for the shadows or whatever, give me a yell.

Hi guys! I know its been a while since my last post, but I think I have a pretty good reason!
I present to you my first ever MESH SET for The Sims 2!!! I took it apon myself to learn how to mesh, and have come up with a pretty simple (but in my opinion, quite useful and practical – but still stylie) set of sideboards, shelves, a chair, and some deco.

*Please note that this set is apparently not The Sims 2 Base Game compatible (REQUIRES THE SIMS 2 FREE TIME I THINK), but I am in the process of making it compatible. Please check back soon to redownload the set if it is not working in your game – these things are expected when you’re a noob, right? :D

Included are 2 sideboards, one made to look like shelves, and one with cupboards and drawers. There are 2 slots on top of each sideboard, and unfortunately the shelves aren’t functional in the first sideboard howver I have used omsp’s to place a bit of deco in them (If someone out there knows how to add slots to objects and would be willing to give me a tutorial, please leave a comment and we can talk, i’d be eternally grateful).

Also included is a super modern ball chair, and I know there are others out there for The Sims 2 but it’s one of my favourite chairs so I had to give it a go. (Please beware though, this comes in at about 4500 poly’s – very very high I know, but worth it in my mind ;). Keep that in mind if you have a lower-end PC) The rest of the set is low poly so I figure it makes up for it!

To round out the set I have made some nifty CD wall shelves which are shiftable if you have AL, and can be moved quarter tiles if you have the Sims 2 Mansion and Garden Stuff Pack, and a set of little deco bowls. Everything comes in a pretty excellent variety of colours if I do say so myself. Eventually I will do some wooden recolours of the shelves/sideboards, so stay tuned. I hope you like my first delve into meshing, I hope to be creating lots more stuff for you to practice! Please please please let me know if you encounter any problems with my meshes, and most of all, enjoy!

Today I have for you seven worn recolours of the “Hemnes” set from the IKEA stuff pack. Obviously this pack is required for these recolours to work! Included are recolours for the bed, 2 side table (one round, one square), and 2 dressers. I’m keen to do some more of this set, because I use it a lot. And last but not least, a cute little fully furnished (with mostly maxis furniture) Craftsman Bungalow for your simmies to enjoy all their new stuff in. This house looks small, but it has 3 pretty big bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, separate kitchen and dining rooms, and a pretty respectable sized living room. You could convert the downstairs bedroom into an office or play room or WHATEVER! There is also a large basement, and a small garden in the yard. Minimal landscaping is done, with plenty of room to add your touches. This house is on a 2×2 lot. To see pictures of the house, click here!

The bungalow utilises a lot of my recolours that I have listed individually, but in some cases these recolours weren’t packaged with the house, so you’ll need to download them separately. My apologies for that! Packaging lots is annoying and stupid, so don’t blame me :D

EP’s required:
I have all EP’s and all SP’s up to Apartment Life, so I think it probably needs all those… Use the Clean Installer to install.
