Awesims “Flor” carpets for The Sims 2

Hello friends! First I must apologise for the lack of updates. Work has been driving me crazy, and so after thats all done, all I wanna do is chill. But anyway!

I decided The Sims 2 had a distinct lack of nice carpets – they often have grains that are too big, too gaudy, or don’t tile that well. So when I came across this lovely site, I instantly fell in love. I modified some of their carpets to tile correctly and smoothly, and here you have the result!

I have to say, without tooting my own horn, I am in love with these carpets. You can do so much with them. The stripey ones make fantastic rugs, and you can mix and match colours to your hearts desire.

Pro tip: use Ctrl+F when placing floor tiles to get a triangular quarter! ENDLESS POSSIBLITIES! I never really played with the < & > rotate tools before now, but I gotta say, I am hooked.

Anyway, have fun with these carpets, I hope your sims enjoy them as much as mine do!

Designer Wallpaper for The Sims 2

Hey guys! Today I have for you some more wallpapers, some with a funky matchstick design on a nicely textured wallpaper, some semi metallic looking geometric wallpapers for your ultra modern sims, and a couple of sweet circle designs. For the matchstick walls there are matching plain wallpapers as illustrated, the others unfortunately don’t have it. But they look great with black, white grey, all sorts of complimentary paint colours. I hope you enjoy!

Awesims Wood Decking for The Sims 2

Hellooo. Today I have for you some nice wooden floors for use on your sims decks/patios/pool areas/or really anywhere you want a nice wood floor. They were made especially for my good friend SimsArtGallery. The bonus with these floors are that you have 9 individual pieces with partial borders/frames to create interesting deck patterns or whatever. Each colour (and there are 9, yes, 9 colours) have these pieces. I have also included a collection file because finding all the bits can get a little tricky. Anyway, I hope you enjoy them :)

Hipster Mosaic glass wall and floor tiles for The Sims 2

The EA/Maxis “Hipster Mosaic” wall tiles have long been some of my favourites for kitchens and bathrooms in The Sims 2, but as is often the case, I need more variety. So here are a bunch of different colours for ya! I have given the walls a slight gradient, maybe to imitate a glossy sheen… I don’t know how successful it is, but I do think they are very pretty regardless. There are a bunch of floor tiles to match the walls, some walls have 2 sets of tiles to match them. Collection file is included, goes in your “collections” folder. Hope you enjoy!

Wood siding – neutral colours

Continuing from yesterdays update, I was reminded that I haven’t made white or black versions of my siding or shingles, so here they are, enjoy! Included are a white, black and 2 grey options, and the greys kindof remind me of a weathered cedar look, nice for modern cabins or whatever. Hooray for options! Enjoy! Please note, These walls SHOULD be mac compatible.

P.S, if you would like to download the house, you can do so by clicking this link. The house is unfurnished apart from basic fixtures – bathrooms, kitchen, and basic beds for the bedrooms. The lot costs around 48,000 simoleons, and is situated on a 2 x 4 lot. This version requires pretty much ALL Sims 2 Expansion Packs and Stuff Packs, except for The Sims 2 Family Fun Stuff, and Teen Style Stuff, which I don’t have, but I will rebuild it using few EP’s and post it later. | downloaded 812 times

Wood Siding – horizontal and vertical for The Sims 2

Today I have for you some wood siding to match the shingles I made for the earlier “Arts and Crafts” set (which you can download separately) They come in a horizontal orientation, and vertical, for something a bit different! They are not traditional “weatherboard” style, but more like cedar cladding. Available in all the colours of the shingles, plus some bonus wood tones. Colours are shown on the image. If anyone is interested in the lot, I can put that up for download too! These walls SHOULD be mac compatible, I hope!

Dgandy’s “Charmed Archway” recolours

I fell in love with this arch as soon as I saw it.. and I know I’m not the only one! So obviously, variety being the spice of life and all, I had to make some snazzy recolours of it. I spent some time shading and highlighting the texture and I think it’s come out pretty well, but obviously thats up to you to decide! I hope you like :) The mesh is by Dgandy at SimsFashionBarn, and the mesh is here (though I have included it in the recolour rar).
