If you want to save yourself the hassle of redownloading a ton of files, check out thesimsresource.com/fixyourgame/ where you can download the tool to fix all the files in your game really, really easily.

Please let me know if there are any files that have been missed and I’ll sort them out quick sticks.

Edit, I see that TSR have released a batch fixing tool, and it is with limitations at this stage so I am going to hold off “fixing” things for a little while to see what happens. Of course you have the choice to fix any of my stuff that you have in your game already! No need to redownload uneccessarily :)

I have still not decided how I am going to handle my old downloads, because one of the limitations of the tool is that it creates files that don’t work on unpatched games and I know a looot of people (for whatever reason) don’t patch their games..

If you have suggestions I’m happy to hear them :)

My partner and I are fine, with no serious injuries nor major damage to our apartment, but we are bunkering down, conserving our resources and just waiting it out with family and friends. We are so fortunate to have escaped harm, and although we have no water to our place, we do have power and enough food & drinking water to last a little while.

My thoughts and hopes and deepest sympathies go out to all the families in Christchurch who are suffering right now, not knowing whether their family members or friends who are missing are alive or not, and to the families & friends of the 76 confirmed dead, our grief for you is indescribable. This is an incredibly difficult time for us all, but take comfort that we are all here for you.

I want to extend my gratitude to all the search & rescue agencies and support from all around the world for your invaluable help at this difficult time. We couldn’t recover without you.

Last Friday the site was down for a couple of days due to a hacker attack on my site. Fortunately they were only able to access my GoDaddy account, so all my files and stuff were absolutely fine. So suck it hackers, SUCK IT. Thats not to say it wasn’t a major inconvenience, because it was, SO not happy about it. But what do ya do :)

I’m back from the holidays and rearing to get some meshing done :) I might even open up a post for requests, but please know that there will be rules, and I’m not gonna make just any old thing. But yeah haven’t decided when that will be yet!

I’m just gonna catch up with comments and hopefully try fix problems people have had. So bear with me, and thank you for visiting!!!

A number of people have mentioned a lag issue with Redcliffs, and the wonderful Dutchysim has discovered that changing the lot “Military Point Park” to “No Visitors Allowed has remedied that. This was confirmed by a couple of other simmers too, so if you are experiencing lag, that may be something to try.

It was also mentioned that the Hospital and Office building lots were empty, so I am uploading the lots here for you to plop them in your game if they are missing for you. Neither lot contains any CC.

Woops I forgot to mention, if you are wanting to remove extra CC from Redcliffs, download the original world file from here, open it up in CUSTARD, uncheck everything you DON’T want, and save the file and install as usual via the launcher. Some objects and patterns may be missing from the world when you load it, but at least you’ll have a world file with the amount of CC you want. Sorry for the inconvenience!
