Good morning :)
By popular demand I am dumping a few things here that have been released with Redcliffs, for those who want them, but don’t want Redcliffs.
Awesims Cornices

3 cornices that are actually fences. Found in fences obviously! Also included is a little deco end post (found in sculptures, by the gnome) that I like to place (I couldn’t make it work attached to the actual fence, so separate it is. Turns out it allows for greater flexibility of use anyway, so win!). Each cornice has 3 recolourable parts.

The Duncan Window & window decoration

I saw this window on a picture of a house and the rest is history. Fell in love – HAD to have it. So here you go. Its a single tile window, but looks great in groups of 2 or 3 or however many you want. It comes with 2 presets, one fancy, one plain. I also made a little er.. I’m not sure what it’s called, but it is basically just the top bit of the Duncan window, and as it happens it looks great over top of Madaya74’s classic windows, which I use *a lot*. The deco thingy is found in curtains, the window… well if I have to explain that…

Masonry Wallpapers

The geometric-y walls are inspired by a building across the road from my gym. It comes in 3 parts, a left, right, and single tile piece. 4 recolourable parts, found in masonry in the walls catalogue. The other one is just something I came up with from some picture online I guess, also 4 recolourable parts, also found in masonry :) Comes in the standard middle bit, and a left and right piece.

And now, the infamous Geneva Kitchen

Heavily inspired (pretty much copied) by Pam at Retro Renovations goooorgeous kitchen, this kitchen is my mid century dream kitchen! As it is now, well honestly, its messy. There are texture tiling issues, slight seams between counters at certain angles (though I have also noticed this in some EA counters, so you know), sink choices are limited, and yeah its generally in an unfinished but pretty workable state, and unfortunately I don’t have the motivation to finish/fix it up. But I am literally inundated with WCIF’s for it, and I figure I might as well release it as it is now and people can have at it. It includes: The main counter, 2 corner shelf unit counters (a left and a right, no slots sorry, feel free to add your own), a double wide counter for sinks, a soffit for above windows etc to create a seamless look, 2 upper cabinets (long and short), 2 upper corner shelf cabinets (left and right, sorry the lower shelves don’t have slots either – couldn’t do them with TSRW at the time), a small kitchen window border curtain, and a range hood wall light. Each counter comes with 3 recolourable channels – the counter top, the main bit, and the handles. I have found this kitchen VERY versatile, very cute and absolutely mid century cool. This kitchen is provided as is, and I have no intention at this stage to work on it anymore (I hate making kitchens now, lol). Enjoy :)

The kitchen is wonderful. I have the moveable OMSP by Pocci, so it can go in any of the shelves there. Thank you so much!
Emma says:
Thanks you soo much! I couldn’t get recliffes because I don’t have WA, so I really appreciate this. Everything looks amazing, I especially love the window decoration. Thanks again!

Thank you for sharing the goodies! I have no problems with the Geneva kitchen, only used it in like almost all my active sims lots. LOL!
Sarah says:
LOL, B :D I have to admit, at the risk of sounding like I’m tooting my own horn, I don’t really use many others either these days, lol.

Sarah says:
Pam!!! That would be totally fine! I just LOVE your site!
pam kueber says:
Thank you, Sarah, I’ll aim to post it early next week. I love your kitchen design – and it’s so cool that retro kitchen inspiration is heading into the sims world! :)
pam kueber says:
Oh, and I meant to add: I LOVE your kitchen design. You should be a kitchen designer! You got the curved what not shelves just right — and I really appreciate how you used the tile and my favorite: wallpaper! Yay!
Sarah says:
You bet its cool that retro is making its way into the Sims world!
I am soo pleased you commented, and I have to admit, I am a little star-struck, you and your site are a huge inspiration for me!
lalucediamore says:
You are amazing – thank you so much for these!!!
lalucediamore says:
I found only one issue … I can’t find the cooker hood! I assumed it was in the wall light section as you mentioned it as such, but even when I looked elsewhere, I still couldn’t find it. I wonder if anyone else is having the same problem – it is showing up in game files, it just isn’t showing up in game, no matter what I try to do to fix it : (
Sarah says:
Hiya Lalucediamore, try looking in the Misc Appliances (you know, where the phones/smoke alarms etc are). I may have mentioned the wrong category (I have an earlier version of the thing in my game and it is in wall lights, lol)
lalucediamore says:
Sarah,
I took everything out and reloaded, and now I can see it. I think I looked there before, but it looks a little different in the tiny picture so either I missed it or reloading everything worked. Thank you so much! : D This is an amazing kitchen – I can’t wait to see more, as always!
Ashley says:
Just wanted to drop in and say I absolutely LOVE the Geneva kitchen. Its definitely my favorite kitchen of all time already. I had a hard time finding the cooker hood because I was looking in all the wrong places lol. I finally found it under Misc Appliances, if anyone else is having trouble finding it :D Thanks so much for this and all your creations!! <3
Ashley says:
Whoops! Apparently I read your comment wrong, Sarah! I thought you said the cooker hood was under misc electronics and that’s where I was looking at first! lol Ignore my first comment please ;D Except for the parts about loving this kitchen!
Sarah says:
Hehe, no problem Ashley, thanks for your comment :)
Marisa says:
I absolutely adore all of these objects! I’ve just come across a wee problem, though – the wallpaper zip file has the Duncan window in it instead of the middle piece of the deco masonry wall… Hope you can fix this as I really want to use that wall! Thanks. :)
Sarah says:
Hey Marisa! I will reupload that as soon as I get back to my computer, sorry about that!
Marisa says:
No probs, Sarah! Hope you’re having a wonderful summer. :)
Sarah says:
Hi Marisa, if you redownload the walls now it should be fine :) Sorry about that! To other people missing the main piece of the Decorative masonry wall, please redownload!

Please do a google search for how to install custom content for the sims. I’m sorry, but I can’t be everyones personal how-to girl :)

Hey, Sarah, you’re on my blog today, check it out! Many thanks, I love how retro kitchens are making it into the next-gen Sims world! Makes me very happy! http://retrorenovation.com/2011/01/14/my-mid-century-modern-kitchen-for-sims-3/
Sarah says:
Pam, thank you so much for the feature! Thank you for being a constant inspiration :)
claudio says:
I really like the kitchen, so simple but amazing, seriously :D
Confession68 says:
I really love the kitchen too, but where do I get my hands on that half tile/half wallpaper wall that you used for it? :) Thanks!
Heaven says:
The Duncan windows are lovely. I was wondering if you were interested in expanding upon them; making a shorter version (the only problem I have with them is that they are low and, if you put furniture below them, it covers the window). Maybe a counter height one would be lovely, along with maybe a single window, centered on two tiles?
Wayne says:
Hallo! LOVE the cornices! Is there anyway to have them made for Sims 2?
Tiffany says:
I just love you work, I simply can’t say enough. I stumbled on your work a few days ago and downloaded your whole site and ended up with what felt like a new expansion pack!
Your work is so modern and creative it seriously rivals even TS3 best work!
I am having a small problem when trying to download the Masonry Wallpapers set. When I click on the link to download, it leads me to a scrambled page of garbled text. I tried using two different web browsers, so I’m not sure if it’s a problem with me or what.
In any event, I adore your work. Thank you!
alex says:
still taking it in……
Jasmine says:
@Tiffany
I’m having the same problem! D:! I can’t download the kitchen. It leads me to a page full of script.. :’[ I was very sad. Anyone know what the problem is? ;~;..

Nilxis says:
Hello Sarah :) I’m building a world and I’m using one of your cornices for some of the buildings. (I’m using the one of the middle of your picture). I’m using CC for my world, but in .package so this way people who don’t want CC can download the world. But I saw your cornices are only in .sims3pack so I would like to have them in .package. Can you please upload a .package version of the cornices? I would be very grateful if you do it ;)
Thanks for reading, Nilxis.
Sarah says:
Nilxis, if you have the sims 3 pack converter you can easily convert them to package yourself :)
Nilxis says:
Hi again, I’ll do that and I’ll give you a link, then can you put the link here so it’s easier for the people to find?
Thank you :)
Nilxis says:
Here is the link: http://www.mediafire.com/?e2bnban8nnop99z It was easier and faster than I thought :) I’ve tested in game and they work fine.

Nora Celwyne says:
Hi,
I’ve recently uploaded the shell of a baroque palace I’m working on. The shell contains CC you have created.
I’ve uploaded it to mediafire with links to your work and credits posted in my thread is that ok?
Please feel free to take a look at what I’ve done so far; the interior is still a work in progress. My thread can be found here:http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/posts/list/653015.page or here: http://www.simmerssociety.net/forum…r-regal-simswip
Thank you again for you wonderful content.
